Working Principle
During the air compression process, achieving optimal efficiency in single-stage compression necessitates that the power needed equals the combined effort of multi-stage compression. However, real-world applications often suffer from inefficiencies such as coupling power loss, bearing friction, and cooling liquid viscosity, leading to elevated power consumption. By reducing the compression ratio at each stage, multi-stage compression can effectively minimize these inefficiencies, resulting in significantly lower total power requirements compared to single-stage compression.
Our revolutionary two-stage screw air compressor features an advanced dual-stage rotary screw mechanism, where each stage is equipped with an active and a passive screw. The active screw propels the passive screw through an external power device. The first stage employs a low-pressure rate screw group, while the second stage uses a high-pressure rate screw group. Each screw is enveloped by a sealing air film, meticulously compressing the gas through three distinct phases: suction, pressurization, and exhaust.
First Stage Compression: The journey begins with the low-pressure rate screw group compressing the gas. The gas enters the compression chamber via a suction valve, where it undergoes gradual compression and is then transferred to the second stage under the vigorous rotation of the screw rotor.
Second Stage Compression: In this phase, the gas is directed into a narrower screw space, where it experiences intensified compression at elevated temperatures and pressures. The high-pressure gases are then expelled from the system as the exhaust valve opens, completing the comprehensive compression cycle.
The process initiates with the filtration of natural air before it enters the first compression stage, where it blends with a small amount of lubricating oil. This mixture is compressed to interstage pressure and passes through a cooling channel, encountering a generous amount of oil mist that significantly reduces its temperature. The cooled gas then advances to the second stage for further compression and is ultimately expelled through the exhaust valve, thereby completing the entire efficient compression process.
