In the ideal air compression process, the power necessary for single-stage pressure transmission equals the combined power needed for multi-stage compression. However, in real-world scenarios, actual working power increases due to factors such as coupling transmission power loss, bearing friction coefficient, and the cooling effect of liquid viscosity. To mitigate this, reducing the compression ratio at each stage can decrease the total power required for multi-stage compression, making it more efficient than single-stage compression.
The two-stage screw air compressor boasts a two-stage rotary screw mechanism, each stage featuring an active and a passive screw. The active screw powers the passive screw via an external transmission device. The first stage employs a low-pressure rate screw group, while the second stage utilizes a high-pressure rate screw group. Each screw is enveloped by a sealing air film. As the screws rotate, gas undergoes compression through three distinct phases: suction, pressurization, and exhaust.
First Stage Compression: The initial stage of the two-stage screw air compressor features a low-pressure rate screw group.
