To achieve peak efficiency, it is essential to minimize the compression ratio at each stage, ensuring that the overall power needed for multi-stage compression is less than that of single-stage compression.
The highly advanced two-stage screw air compressor from Sanzhi (Henan) Compressor Co., Ltd. incorporates a state-of-the-art dual rotary screw mechanism. Featuring both active and passive screws, the active screw is driven by an external transmission which powers the passive screw. This exceptional system begins with a low-pressure screw group in the first stage, and advances to a high-pressure screw group in the second stage. Each screw is enveloped by a sealing air film, facilitating gas compression through sequential cycles of suction, pressurization, and exhaust during the screw's rotation.
First Stage Compression: In this initial phase, the low-pressure screw group initiates the gas compression process. Gas is drawn into the screw compression chamber through the suction valve, where the rapid rotation of the screw rotor effectively compresses the gas, transferring it efficiently to the second stage for further processing.
Second Stage Compression: At this advanced phase, gas enters a narrower screw space and undergoes compression at significantly elevated temperatures and pressures. The exhaust valve then opens, releasing the high-pressure gas from the system and thus completing the two-stage compression process.
Natural air is initially drawn into the first stage through an air filter, where it mixes with a small quantity of lubricating oil in the compression chamber. The gas is then compressed to interstage pressure and cooled in the cooling channel through contact with oil mist, significantly lowering its temperature. The cooled gas then progresses to the second-stage rotor for further compression to the final exhaust pressure.
