In an ideal air compression scenario, the power needed for single-stage pressure transmission equals the collective power required for multi-stage compression. However, in practical applications, additional power is demanded due to transmission power loss, bearing friction, and the cooling effects of liquid viscosity. By minimizing the compression ratio at each stage, the total power required for multi-stage compression can be significantly reduced compared to single-stage compression. The two-stage screw air compressor features an advanced dual rotary screw system. Each stage is equipped with an active and a passive screw, where the active screw drives the passive screw through an external power transmission mechanism.
