In an ideal air compression process, the theoretical power required for single-stage pressure transmission equals the cumulative power necessary for multi-stage compression. Yet, in practical scenarios, actual working power escalates due to coupling transmission losses, bearing friction, and the cooling effects of liquid viscosity, among other factors. By astutely minimizing the compression ratio at each stage, superfluous power consumption can be curtailed, allowing multi-stage compression to demand less total power compared to its single-stage counterpart.

The two-stage screw air compressor exemplifies engineering excellence with its dual-stage rotary screw design. Each stage comprises an active and a passive screw, driven by an external power source. The initial stage employs a low-pressure rate screw group, while the subsequent stage employs a high-pressure rate group. A sealing air film encircles each screw, compressing the gas through an impeccably seamless cycle of suction, pressurization, and exhaust, delivering extraordinary efficiency.

First Stage Compression: During this initial phase, the two-stage screw air compressor utilizes a low-pressure rate screw group to compress gas.
