In the realm of ideal air compression, single-stage pressure transmission power should be equivalent to multi-stage compression power. However, various real-world factors such as transmission power loss from coupling, bearing friction, and liquid viscosity cooling effects increase the actual working power. By lowering the compression ratio for each stage, we can effectively minimize unnecessary power consumption, rendering the total power requirement for multi-stage compression lower than that of single-stage compression.
The two-stage screw air compressor features a sophisticated dual-stage rotary screw system, comprising both active and passive screws in each stage. The active screw propels the passive screw via an external power transmission device. The first stage leverages a low-pressure rate screw group, while the second stage employs a high-pressure rate screw group. Each screw is enveloped by a sealing air film, which assists in the compression process. Gas undergoes three critical stages: suction, pressurization, and exhaust.
First Stage Compression: The initial phase of the two-stage screw air compressor utilizes a low-pressure rate screw group to compress the incoming gas. Gas enters the screw compression chamber through the suction valve, and the high-speed rotation of the screw rotor ensures steady compression and transfer to the next stage.
Second Stage Compression: During the second stage, gas enters a more confined screw space where it undergoes higher temperature and pressure compression. The exhaust valve then opens, releasing the high-pressure gases seamlessly from the system.
Natural air first enters the initial compression stage via the air filter, blending with a small amount of lubricating oil inside the compression chamber. This mixture is compressed to interstage pressure.
