In an optimal air compression scenario, the power required for single-stage pressure transmission should be equivalent to the cumulative power needed for multi-stage compression. However, in practical applications, various elements such as coupling transmission losses, bearing friction, and the cooling effects of liquid viscosity tend to increase the power demand. To maximize efficiency, it is crucial to minimize the compression ratio at each stage, thereby ensuring that the overall power required for multi-stage compression remains lower than that of single-stage compression.
The two-stage screw air compressor is designed with an advanced dual rotary screw mechanism, incorporating both active and passive screws. The active screw, driven by an external transmission, powers the passive screw. The system begins with a low-pressure screw group in the first stage, followed by a high-pressure screw group in the second stage. Each screw is enveloped by a sealing air film, enabling gas compression through sequential suction, pressurization, and exhaust cycles during the screw's rotation.
First Stage Compression: In this initial phase, the low-pressure screw group initiates the gas compression process. Gas is drawn into the screw compression chamber through the suction valve, where the rapid rotation of the screw rotor compresses the gas, transferring it efficiently to the second stage.
