Working Principle
In an ideal air compression process, the power required for single-stage pressure transmission matches the sum needed for multi-stage compression. However, real-world applications present inefficiencies such as coupling transmission power loss, bearing friction, and liquid viscosity cooling effects, which increase the actual working power. By reducing the compression ratio at each stage, the total power required for multi-stage compression can be made less than that for single-stage compression, effectively minimizing these losses.
The two-stage screw air compressor by Sanzhi Brand boasts a sophisticated two-stage rotary screw mechanism. Each stage includes an active and a passive screw, where the active screw drives the passive screw via an external power transmission device. The first stage features a low-pressure rate screw group, while the second stage utilizes a high-pressure rate screw group. Encased in a sealing air film, these screws work together to compress gas through three phases: suction, pressurization, and exhaust.
First Stage Compression: At the initial stage of compression, a low-pressure rate screw group compresses the gas. Gas enters the screw compression chamber via the suction valve. Driven by the high-speed rotation of the screw rotor, the gas is progressively squeezed out and transferred to the second stage, preparing it for even higher compression.
Second Stage Compression: During the second stage, the gas is funneled into a more confined screw space, where it undergoes compression at elevated temperatures and pressures. Subsequently, the exhaust valve opens, expelling the now high-pressure gas from the system, completing the compression process.
Upon entering the first stage, natural air is meticulously filtered and mixed with a small amount of lubricating oil in the compression chamber. This mixture is compressed to the interstage pressure. The compressed gas then travels through a cooling channel, where it interacts with abundant oil mist, significantly lowering its temperature. This cooled gas is then fed into the second-stage rotor for further compression, culminating in expulsion through the exhaust valve to finalize the entire compression sequence.

As the cooling water navigates through the air compressor, it not only optimizes lubrication by cleansing internal components but also extends the lifespan of friction-prone parts.
