Working Principle
In an ideal air compression journey, the power required for single-stage pressure transmission mirrors the sum needed for multi-stage compression. However, real-world conditions introduce complexities like coupling transmission power loss, bearing friction, and the cooling effects of liquid viscosity, resulting in higher actual working power. By optimizing the compression ratio of each stage, we can minimize these losses, making the total power required for multi-stage compression significantly less than that for single-stage compression.
Our state-of-the-art two-stage screw air compressor features a sophisticated two-stage rotary screw compressor system. Each stage comprises both an active and a passive screw, with the active screw driving the passive one via an external power transmission device. The first stage utilizes a low-pressure rate screw group, while the second stage employs a high-pressure rate screw group. These screws are enveloped by a sealing air film, and as they rotate, the gas undergoes three critical processes: suction, pressurization, and exhaust.
First Stage Compression: The initial stage employs a low-pressure rate screw group, where gas is captured between the screws. The gas is drawn into the screw compression chamber through the suction valve. The high-speed rotation of the screw rotor compresses the gas, progressively transferring it to the second stage.
Second Stage Compression: In the more compressed environment of the second stage screw group, gas enters a tighter screw space and is subjected to even higher temperature and pressure. The exhaust valve then opens, efficiently releasing the high-pressure gases from the system.
Natural air initially enters the first compression stage via the air filter, where it mixes with a small amount of lubricating oil in the compression chamber. The mixed gas is compressed to interstage pressure, enters the cooling channel, and encounters a large amount of oil mist, significantly lowering its temperature. This cooled, compressed gas then enters the second-stage rotor, undergoes two-stage compression to reach the final exhaust pressure, and is ultimately discharged through the exhaust valve, completing the entire compression process.
Our water-cooled compressors stand out by utilizing water as the cooling medium, providing a dual benefit: lubrication and longevity for friction-prone parts. As the cooling water courses through the compressor, it sweeps away heat from the cylinder and the compressed gas, effectively lowering exhaust temperatures and power consumption. This translates to significant operating cost reductions. Note: proper maintenance is necessary to manage potential scaling within the water cooling system.
