In an ideal air compression process, the power required for single-stage pressure transmission equals the sum for multi-stage compression. However, in reality, factors such as coupling power loss, bearing friction, and cooling effects increase the actual working power. By cleverly minimizing the compression ratio for each stage, we reduce 'useless' power, ultimately requiring less total power for multi-stage compression compared to single-stage. The two-stage screw air compressor features a sophisticated design comprising a dual rotary screw system. Each stage is equipped with an active and a passive screw, harmoniously working together. The first stage utilizes a low-pressure rate screw group, while the second employs a high-pressure rate group.
