Working Principle
In an ideal air compression scenario, the energy required for single-stage compression equals the total energy needed for multi-stage compression. However, real-world factors like coupling transmission losses, bearing friction, and cooling effects from viscosity increase the actual power consumption. By reducing the compression ratio at each stage, we can significantly lower overall power usage, making multi-stage compression far more efficient than single-stage compression.
Our two-stage screw air compressor boasts an advanced dual-stage rotary screw system, comprising active and passive screws at each stage. The active screw drives the passive screw using an external power mechanism. The first stage features a low-pressure rate screw group, while the second stage utilizes a high-pressure rate screw group. Each screw is encased in a sealing air film. During operation, the air undergoes three critical processes: suction, pressurization, and exhaust, ensuring superior performance and efficiency.
First Stage Compression: In the initial stage, the low-pressure rate screw group compresses the gas between the screws. The gas is drawn into the compression chamber through the suction valve. As the screw rotor rotates at high speed, the gas is gradually compressed and then transferred to the next stage, setting the foundation for efficient multi-stage compression.
Second Stage Compression: Here, the gas enters a more confined screw space, encountering increased temperatures and pressures. Subsequently, the exhaust valve opens to release the high-pressure gases from the system, completing the compression process with enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.
Natural air enters the first compression stage through an air filter, combining with a small amount of lubricating oil. This mixture is initially compressed to an interstage pressure. The compressed gas then travels through a cooling channel, encountering significant oil mist, which markedly reduces its temperature. The cooled gas then proceeds to the second-stage rotor for final compression, achieving the desired exhaust pressure. Finally, the compressor expels the gas through the exhaust valve, completing the efficient and reliable compression cycle.
