Working Principle
In an optimal air compression scenario, the power demand for single-stage pressure transmission matches the cumulative power required for multi-stage compression. However, in real-world applications, power demand increases due to coupling transmission losses, bearing friction, and the cooling effects caused by liquid viscosity. To maximize efficiency, it is essential to minimize the compression ratio at each stage, ensuring that the overall power requirement for multi-stage compression is less than that of single-stage compression.
The two-stage screw air compressor features a sophisticated dual rotary screw mechanism, including both active and passive screws. The active screw, driven by an external transmission system, propels the passive screw. The initial stage uses a low-pressure screw group, while the subsequent stage employs a high-pressure screw group. Each screw is surrounded by a sealing air film, promoting gas compression through a continuous cycle of suction, pressurization, and exhaust as the screws rotate.
First Stage Compression: At this initial stage, the low-pressure screw group starts the compression process. Gas is drawn into the screw compression chamber through the suction valve, and the rapid rotation of the screw rotor compresses the gas, transferring it to the next stage.
