Coupling transmission losses, bearing friction, and the cooling effects of liquid viscosity increase power requirements. To optimize efficiency, it's crucial to minimize the compression ratio at each stage. This ensures that multi-stage compression demands less overall power than single-stage compression.
Our two-stage screw air compressor boasts a sophisticated design featuring a dual rotary screw mechanism with both active and passive screws. The active screw, driven externally, powers the passive screw. Beginning with a low-pressure screw group in the first stage and then transitioning to a high-pressure screw group in the second stage, each screw is encapsulated by a sealing air film. This design facilitates efficient gas compression through cycles of suction, pressurization, and exhaust during rotation.
First Stage Compression: In this crucial initial phase, the low-pressure screw group initiates gas compression. Gas enters the screw compression chamber via the suction valve, where the rapid rotor rotation compresses the gas and seamlessly transfers it to the second stage.
Second Stage Compression: In this advanced phase, gas is compressed in a narrower screw space at significantly higher temperatures and pressures. The exhaust valve subsequently opens, releasing the compressed high-pressure gas from the system.
