In the ideal air compression process, the power required for single-stage pressure transmission equates to the sum needed for multiple-stage compression. However, real-world factors such as coupling power loss, bearing friction, and liquid viscosity cooling effects result in higher actual working power. By minimizing the compression ratio of each stage, these inefficiencies are mitigated, making the overall power consumption for multi-stage compression lower than that of single-stage compression.
The two-stage screw air compressor is a sophisticated system featuring a two-stage rotary screw mechanism. Each stage includes an active screw that drives a passive screw through an external power transmission device. The first stage incorporates a low-pressure screw group, while the second stage utilizes a high-pressure screw group. Each screw is surrounded by a sealing air film. As the screws rotate, the gas undergoes three processes: suction, pressurization, and exhaust, ensuring efficient compression.
First Stage Compression: The initial stage of the two-stage screw air compressor employs a low-pressure screw group to compress the gas. The gas enters the compression chamber via the suction valve and is compressed by the high-speed rotation of the screw rotor before being transferred to the second stage.
