In an ideal air compression process, the power required for single-stage pressure transmission is equivalent to the combined power needed for multi-stage compression. However, in real-world applications, the actual working power increases due to factors like coupling transmission power loss, bearing friction, and the cooling effect of liquid viscosity. To counteract these inefficiencies, reducing the compression ratio at each stage can significantly decrease the total power needed for multi-stage compression, making this method more efficient than single-stage compression.
The two-stage screw air compressor boasts an advanced two-stage rotary screw mechanism, with each stage featuring an active and a passive screw. The active screw propels the passive screw via an external transmission device. The first stage employs a low-pressure rate screw group, while the second stage utilizes a high-pressure rate screw group. Each screw is enveloped by a sealing air film. As the screws rotate, gas undergoes compression through three phases: suction, pressurization, and exhaust.
First Stage Compression: The initial phase of the two-stage screw air compressor involves a low-pressure rate screw group. Gas is drawn into the screw compression chamber via the suction valve, where it is incrementally compressed by the high-speed rotation of the screw rotor before being transferred to the second stage.
Second Stage Compression: During the second phase, the gas enters a more confined screw space and is subjected to higher pressures and temperatures. The exhaust valve then opens, releasing the high-pressure gases from the system.
Natural air is initially drawn into the compressor through the air filter and mixed with a small quantity of lubricating oil in the compression chamber.
