Ideally, single-stage pressure transmission power would equate to the sum of multi-stage compression power requirements. However, real-world scenarios introduce complexities like coupling power loss, bearing friction, and the cooling effect arising from liquid viscosity, which collectively raise the actual power demand. To counteract this inefficiency, a strategy of reducing the compression ratio at each stage becomes paramount. By doing so, the total power required for multi-stage compression remains notably lower than that of a single-stage system, enhancing performance while minimizing energy waste.

Our groundbreaking two-stage screw air compressor showcases an intricate design with dual rotary screw compressors, each comprising an active and passive screw. The active screw, energized by an external power transmission mechanism, propels the passive screw. At the core, the first stage utilizes a low-pressure rate screw group, followed by a high-pressure rate group in the second stage. A sealing air film surrounds each screw, optimizing rotation and allowing for the seamless cycle of suction, pressurization, and exhaust, thereby ensuring peak performance and operational efficiency.

First stage compression: In this crucial initial phase, the two-stage screw air compressor expertly employs a low-pressure rate screw group to compress the gas. Upon entering the screw compression chamber via the suction valve, the gas is skillfully compressed and directed onward to the second stage by the high-speed rotation of the screw rotors, setting a strong foundation for subsequent efficient compression.

Second stage compression: Moving to the pivotal second stage, the gas is squeezed into a more confined screw space, subjected to heightened temperature and pressure. As the compression peaks, the exhaust valve gracefully opens, facilitating the smooth expulsion of high-pressure gas and ensuring the system's optimal efficiency is upheld.

Natural air, meticulously purified through an air filter, commences its journey into the first compression stage, seamlessly merging with a slight amount of lubricating oil within the compression chamber. This blend is compressed to an interstage pressure. The resulting compressed gas travels through the cooling channel, where it meets a rich oil mist that drastically lowers its temperature. The cooled, compressed gas then progresses to the second-stage rotor for another round of compression, culminating at the final exhaust pressure.
