In an ideal air compression scenario, the energy required for single-stage pressure transmission should equate to the total energy of multi-stage compression. In reality, factors like transmission losses, bearing friction, and cooling due to liquid viscosity increase power needs. To boost efficiency, it is vital to reduce the compression ratio at each stage, ensuring that the energy required for multi-stage compression remains below that of single-stage compression.
The two-stage screw air compressor is expertly crafted with an intricate dual rotary screw design featuring active and passive screws. The active screw, powered externally, drives the passive screw. The system begins with a low-pressure screw set in the initial stage, advancing to a high-pressure screw set in the secondary stage. Each screw is enveloped by a sealing air film, allowing smooth gas compression through a sequence of suction, pressurization, and exhaust cycles during the screw's rotation.
First Stage Compression: In this initial phase, the low-pressure screw set begins the gas compression process. Gas is drawn into the screw compression chamber via the suction valve, where the rapid rotation of the screw rotor compresses and effectively transfers it to the subsequent stage.
