Working Principle
In an ideal air compression process, the power required for single-stage pressure transmission equals the sum needed for multi-stage compression. However, in reality, the actual working power increases due to transmission power loss from coupling, bearing friction, cooling effects of liquid viscosity, and other factors. Therefore, by reducing the compression ratio of each stage, we can minimize useless power, ensuring that the total power required for multi-stage compression is less than that for single-stage compression.
The two-stage screw air compressor features a two-stage rotary screw compressor system. Each stage includes an active and a passive screw. The active screw drives the passive screw via an external power transmission device. The first stage employs a low-pressure rate screw group, while the second stage uses a high-pressure rate screw group. A sealing air film surrounds each screw, and as they rotate, the gas is compressed through three processes: suction, pressurization, and exhaust.
First Stage Compression: The two-stage screw air compressor's first stage utilizes a low-pressure rate screw group, where gas is squeezed between screws. The gas enters the screw compression chamber via the suction valve. Under the high-speed rotation of the screw rotor, the gas is gradually squeezed out and transferred to the second stage.
Second Stage Compression: In the second stage screw group, the gas enters a tighter screw space and is compressed at higher temperature and pressure. The exhaust valve opens to release the high-pressure gases from the system.
Natural air is drawn into the first compression stage through an air filter, mixing with a small amount of lubricating oil in the compression chamber. The mixed gas is compressed to the interstage pressure, then cooled by contacting a large amount of oil mist in the cooling channel. The cooled compressed gas moves to the second-stage rotor, undergoes two-stage compression to reach the final exhaust pressure, and is discharged through the exhaust valve, completing the entire compression process.
Our water-cooled compressors utilize water as the essential cooling medium. As the cooling water circulates through the compressor, it not only cleans but also enhances lubrication, significantly extending the lifespan of friction-wearing parts. During operation, the cooling water dissipates heat from the cylinder and compressed gas, effectively lowering the exhaust temperature and power consumption. This reduction in operational costs is notable. However, attention must be given to potential scaling issues within the water cooling system.
1) High Efficiency of PM Motor:Our permanent magnet (PM) motor boasts a broad constant torque and weak magnetic range. Impressively, it operates with 20-30% higher efficiency compared to regular motors. Even when functioning away from its rated frequency, the PM motor maintains an exceptionally high level of efficiency.
2) Motor Maintenance-Free:The PM motor's design is free of internal bearings, thus eliminating any costs associated with motor bearing maintenance and replacement.
3) Integrated Frequency Converter:Leveraging China's top frequency system, our compressors offer extensive speed regulation and high precision. They adapt to actual gas demand through frequency modulation, delivering remarkable energy-saving performance.
4) No Transmission Loss:The embedded integrated shaft directly connects the PM motor and compressor, creating a more compact structure. With no couplings or other transmission components, the transmission efficiency reaches 100%.
5) Variable Frequency Start and Soft Startof the motor significantly diminish impact on power grid equipment, ensuring no damage occurs to electrical components.
6) Reduced Energy Consumption:Our frequency conversion ranges from 25% to 100% (compared to the standard 50% to 100%). This results in over 30% energy savings versus fixed-speed compressors, and about 5% savings compared to regular variable-frequency compressors. The greater the fluctuation in system gas consumption, the more pronounced the energy savings.
7) Unique Two-Stage Compression Air End:The innovative design of our two-stage compression screw machine integrates the first and second compression rotors within a single casing. Each rotor achieves optimal linear speed through direct gear rotation, leading to higher compression efficiency.
8) Internal Spray Curtain Cooling Method:Utilizing a high energy-saving internal spray curtain cooling technique, this method significantly lowers the temperature of the compressed air. It achieves near-isothermal compression, reduces pressure loss between stages, lowers the compression ratio, and enhances overall compression efficiency.
9) Reduced Internal Leakage:Adopting two-stage compression lowers the compression ratio for each stage, minimizing internal leakage from the high-pressure to the low-pressure end, thereby improving volumetric efficiency.
10) Noise Reduction:Two-stage compression not only decreases the compression ratio but also significantly reduces noise, particularly the unloading noise.
