In an ideal air compression scenario, the power required for single-stage pressure transmission equals the cumulative power for multi-stage compression. However, during real-world operations, various factors such as coupling transmission losses, bearing friction, and the cooling effects of liquid viscosity increase the power demand. Enhancing efficiency necessitates minimizing the compression ratio at each stage to ensure that the overall power required for multi-stage compression remains lower than that of single-stage compression.
The two-stage screw air compressor is an advanced piece of engineering featuring a dual rotary screw mechanism, which includes both active and passive screws. The active screw, driven by an external transmission, propels the passive screw. The system begins with a low-pressure screw group in the first stage, followed by a high-pressure screw group in the second stage. Each screw is enveloped by a sealing air film, facilitating gas compression through sequential suction, pressurization, and exhaust cycles during rotation.
First Stage Compression: In this initial phase, the low-pressure screw group begins the gas compression process. Gas enters the screw compression chamber through the suction valve, where the rapid rotation of the screw rotor further compresses the gas and efficiently transfers it to the second stage.
