Working Principle
In the optimal air compression process, the power required for single-stage pressure transmission equals the combined effort of multi-stage compression. However, in real-world scenarios, actual working power is higher due to inefficiencies such as coupling transmission power loss, bearing friction, and the cooling effects of liquid viscosity. By reducing the compression ratio at each stage, the total power necessary for multi-stage compression can be minimized compared to single-stage compression, effectively mitigating these losses and enhancing efficiency.
The two-stage screw air compressor boasts a dual-stage rotary screw mechanism. Each stage consists of an active and a passive screw, with the active screw driving the passive screw via an external power transmission device. The first stage incorporates a low-pressure screw group, while the second stage features a high-pressure screw group. The screws are enveloped in a sealing air film, facilitating gas compression through three phases: suction, pressurization, and exhaust, ensuring efficient and reliable performance.
First Stage Compression: The initial phase utilizes a low-pressure rate screw group to compress the gas. Gas is drawn into the screw compression chamber through a suction valve, where it is progressively squeezed and transferred to the second stage by the high-speed rotation of the screw rotor, setting the foundation for subsequent high-pressure compression.
Second Stage Compression: In this critical phase, the gas enters a narrower screw space and undergoes compression at elevated temperatures and pressures. The high-pressure gases are then expelled from the system as the exhaust valve opens, completing the high-efficiency compression cycle and ensuring optimal performance.
Natural air is meticulously filtered before being drawn into the first compression stage, where it mixes with a small amount of lubricating oil in the compression chamber. This blend is compressed to interstage pressure and subsequently passes through a cooling channel, where it contacts a substantial amount of oil mist to significantly reduce its temperature. The cooled gas then enters the second-stage rotor for further compression and is finally expelled through the exhaust valve, completing the entire efficient and effective compression process.
