In an ideal air compression process, the theoretical power for single-stage pressure transmission aligns with the total power for multi-stage compression. However, in practical scenarios, actual power requirements rise due to transmission losses, friction, and cooling effects. By strategically lowering the compression ratio at each stage, we can reduce unnecessary power consumption. This approach allows multi-stage compression to be more power-efficient than single-stage compression.

The two-stage screw air compressor represents a pinnacle of engineering, boasting a dual-stage rotary screw design. In each stage, an active screw drives a passive counterpart using an external power source. The first stage uses a low-pressure screw group, while the second stage employs a high-pressure version. Surrounding each screw is a sealing air film, ensuring seamless gas compression through cycles of suction, pressurization, and exhaust, culminating in remarkable efficiency.

First stage compression: In this crucial initial phase, the two-stage screw air compressor utilizes a low-pressure screw group to compress gas. The gas enters the screw compression chamber via the suction valve, and as the screw rotor accelerates, the gas is efficiently expelled and advanced to the next compression phase.
