In an ideal air compression process, the power required for single-stage pressure transmission equates to the cumulative power needed for multi-stage compression. However, real-world scenarios introduce factors such as coupling transmission power loss, bearing friction coefficients, and the cooling effects of liquid viscosity, which increase actual working power. By decreasing the compression ratio at each stage, we effectively minimize useless power, ensuring that the total power required for multi-stage compression is less than that for single-stage compression, thereby enhancing overall efficiency.

The two-stage screw air compressor integrates a sophisticated two-stage rotary screw system. Each stage features an active and a passive screw. The active screw, powered externally, drives the passive screw. The first stage employs a low-pressure rate screw group, while the second stage utilizes a high-pressure rate screw group. Surrounding each screw is a sealing air film, which, during rotation, compresses the gas through suction, pressurization, and exhaust processes, ensuring comprehensive and efficient compression.

First Stage Compression: The initial phase uses a low-pressure rate screw group where the gas is drawn into the screw compression chamber via the suction valve. The high-speed rotating screw rotor gradually compresses the gas, which is then transferred to the second stage for further compression.

Second Stage Compression: In this phase, the gas enters a more confined screw space, undergoing compression at higher temperatures and pressures. The exhaust valve then opens, efficiently expelling the high-pressure gases from the system.

Natural air, filtered at the first stage, merges with a small amount of lubricating oil in the compression chamber. This mixture is compressed to interstage pressure and subsequently cooled via a channel where it encounters oil mist, significantly lowering the temperature. The cooled gas then enters the second-stage rotor for additional compression, reaching the final exhaust pressure. The compressor then releases the fully compressed gas through the exhaust valve, completing the entire, efficient compression process.
