Working Principle
In an ideal air compression scenario, the power needed for single-stage pressure transmission equals the sum required for multi-stage compression. However, in practical applications, actual operational power increases due to inefficiencies like power loss from coupling, bearing friction, and the cooling effects of liquid viscosity. By minimizing the compression ratio at each stage, the total power for multi-stage compression can be reduced compared to single-stage compression, effectively diminishing these inefficiencies.
The Industrial Two-Stage Screw Air Compressor boasts a cutting-edge dual-stage rotary screw mechanism. Each stage is equipped with an active and a passive screw, with the active screw driving the passive one via an external power transmission device. The first stage employs a low-pressure screw group, while the second stage utilizes a high-pressure screw group. Each screw rotates within an air-tight seal, ensuring efficient operation. During this process, the gas undergoes three critical stages of compression: suction, pressurization, and exhaust.
First Stage Compression: The initial stage harnesses a low-pressure screw group to compress the incoming gas. Gas enters the compression chamber through the suction valve. Under the rapid rotation of the screw rotor, the gas experiences progressive compression before being transferred to the second stage.
Second Stage Compression: Here, the gas moves into a more confined screw space where it is compressed at elevated temperatures and pressures. The exhaust valve then opens to release the high-pressure gas from the system, completing this vital stage of compression.
Natural air is meticulously filtered before entering the first stage of compression, where it combines with a small amount of lubricating oil in the compression chamber. This mixture undergoes initial compression to interstage pressure. The compressed gas navigates through a cooling channel, interacting with a significant amount of oil mist, which reduces its temperature. The cooled gas then enters the second-stage rotor for further compression and is ultimately expelled through the exhaust valve, culminating the entire sophisticated compression process.
