Working Principle
In an ideal air compression scenario, the energy needed for single-stage pressure transmission equals the cumulative energy required for multiple stages. However, real-world compression diverges due to power losses from coupling transmission, bearing friction, liquid viscosity's cooling effects, and other factors. By minimizing each stage's compression ratio, the total energy needed for multi-stage compression can be less than that for single-stage compression, effectively reducing wasted power.
The two-stage screw air compressor consists of a dual-stage rotary screw system, with each stage featuring an active and a passive screw. The active screw drives the passive screw through an external power transmission system. The first stage operates with a low-pressure screw group, while the second stage uses a high-pressure screw group. A sealing air film encircles each screw, facilitating compression through suction, pressurization, and exhaust processes.
First Stage Compression: In the initial stage, a low-pressure screw group compresses the gas, which enters the chamber via the suction valve. The screw rotor's high-speed rotation gradually compresses the gas, transferring it to the second stage.
Second Stage Compression: During the second stage, the gas enters a more compact screw space for higher temperature and pressure compression. The exhaust valve then opens to expel the high-pressure gas from the system.
Natural air is drawn into the first compression stage through an air filter, mixing with a small amount of lubricating oil. The mixed gas is compressed to interstage pressure, then cooled significantly by oil mist in the cooling channel. The cooled gas moves to the second-stage rotor for final compression, reaching the exhaust pressure. The entire process culminates when the compressed air is discharged through the exhaust valve.
Water-cooled compressors utilize water as the cooling medium. As cooling water circulates within the air compressor, it not only aids in cleaning but also enhances lubrication, thus extending the lifespan of friction-wearing parts. During operation, the cooling water absorbs heat from the cylinder and compressed gas, significantly lowering exhaust temperature and power consumption, which in turn reduces operating costs. Attention must be given to potential scaling issues within the water cooling system.

4) Zero Transmission Loss:The direct connection of the permanent magnet motor and compressor via an embedded integrated shaft ensures a compact structure, with no coupling or other transmission parts, achieving 100% transmission efficiency.
5) Variable Frequency Start and Soft StartThe variable frequency start and soft start of the motor significantly reduce the impact on power grid equipment, preventing damage to electrical equipment.
6) Reduced Energy Consumption:With a frequency conversion range from 25% to 100% (compared to ordinary frequency conversion from 50% to 100%), this system saves over 30% more energy than fixed-speed air compressors. Even compared to standard variable frequency air compressors, it offers around 5% energy savings. The greater the fluctuation in system gas consumption, the more pronounced the energy-saving effect.
7) Unique Two-Stage Compression Air End:The two-stage compression screw machine features a distinct air end design, combining the first and second stage compression rotors within a single casing. Rotated directly via gears, each rotor achieves optimal linear speed, resulting in higher compression efficiency.
8) Internal Spray Curtain Cooling Method:This high energy-saving method provides excellent cooling, significantly lowering the temperature of compressed air and achieving near-isothermal compression. It also reduces pressure loss between the first and second stages, lowers the compression ratio, and enhances compression efficiency.
9) Minimized Internal Leakage:Two-stage compression lowers the compression ratio for each stage, reducing internal leakage from high to low-pressure ends, and improving volumetric efficiency.
10) Noise Reduction:The reduced compression ratio in two-stage compression significantly cuts down noise, particularly unloading noise.
