Working Principle
In an ideal air compression process, the power needed for single-stage pressure transmission equals the sum of the power required for multi-stage compression. However, in real-world applications, the actual working power increases due to factors such as coupling transmission power loss, bearing friction, and the cooling effect of liquid viscosity. To minimize useless power, reducing the compression ratio of each stage is essential. This way, the total power required for multi-stage compression becomes less than that needed for single-stage compression.
The two-stage screw air compressor is engineered with a two-stage rotary screw mechanism. Each stage features an active screw and a passive screw. The active screw drives the passive screw through an external power transmission device. The first stage employs a low-pressure rate screw group, while the second stage utilizes a high-pressure rate screw group. Each screw is enveloped by a sealing air film. During rotation, the gas undergoes three transformative processes: suction, pressurization, and exhaust.
First stage compression: The two-stage screw air compressor's first stage employs a low-pressure rate screw group. Gas is drawn into the screw compression chamber through the suction valve and squeezed by the high-speed rotation of the screw rotor. The gas is then transferred to the second stage.
Second stage compression: In the second stage, the gas enters a more confined screw space and is subjected to higher temperature and pressure. The exhaust valve opens to release the high-pressure gases from the system.
Natural air enters the first compression stage via the air filter, mixing with a small amount of lubricating oil within the compression chamber. The gas is simultaneously compressed to interstage pressure. It then proceeds into the cooling channel, where it interacts with considerable oil mist, significantly lowering its temperature. The cooled compressed gas enters the second-stage rotor for further compression to the final exhaust pressure. The entire compression process concludes with the gas being discharged through the exhaust valve.
Water-cooled compressors leverage water as an efficient cooling medium, which, when circulated within the air compressor, performs dual roles in cleaning and lubrication. This dual-action significantly extends the lifespan of friction-wearing components. During operation, the cooling water efficiently dissipates heat from the cylinder and the compressed gas, effectively reducing exhaust temperature and power consumption, leading to lower operational costs. However, users must remain vigilant about potential scaling issues within the water cooling system.

Remarkably, even when operating away from its rated frequency, the PM motor maintains its superior efficiency, ensuring consistent high performance.
2) Motor maintenance-free:The design of the permanent magnet motor eliminates the need for internal bearings, thereby removing the associated costs of motor bearing maintenance and replacement.
3)Integrated frequency converter: Incorporating China's leading frequency system, this compressor provides a wide range of speed regulation with high precision. It adjusts according to the user's actual gas demands, showcasing remarkable energy-saving performance.
4)No transmission loss: The permanent magnet motor and compressor feature an embedded integrated shaft directly connected structure. This compact design eliminates the need for couplings or other transmission parts, ensuring 100% transmission efficiency.
5)Variable frequency start and the soft startof the motor are achieved, significantly reducing the impact on power grid equipment, thereby preventing damage to electrical components.
6)Reduce energy consumption: With a frequency conversion range from 25% to 100% (compared to the ordinary range of 50% to 100%), this compressor can save over 30% energy compared to fixed-speed models, and about 5% more than standard variable frequency compressors. The greater the fluctuation in system gas consumption, the more pronounced the energy-saving effect.
7) Two-stage compression unique air end:The two-stage compression screw machine features a unique air end design, combining the first-stage and second-stage compression rotors within a single casing. These rotors are driven directly by gears, each achieving optimal linear speed, thus enhancing compression efficiency.
8)Internal spray curtain cooling method: Implementing a highly energy-efficient internal spray curtain cooling method, this system ensures superior cooling, significantly lowering the temperature of the compressed air. This near-isothermal compression reduces pressure loss between stages, improves compression efficiency, and curtails the compression ratio.
9)Reduce internal leakage:Adopting two-stage compression decreases the compression ratio for each stage, minimizing internal leakage from high to low pressure ends, and thereby improving volumetric efficiency.
10)Noise reduction:Two-stage compression lowers the compression ratio dramatically, which in turn significantly reduces overall noise, especially during unloading.
